Royal Mail International Delivery Delays
We wanted to make our customers aware of the ongoing issues affecting Royal Mail following a serious cyber attack, which is causing delays for international orders.
After the turmoil of repeated strike action in the run up to Christmas, Royal Mail have since been hit by a large scale cyber attack.
Customers were warned against sending parcels abroad because of disruption to Royal Mail computer systems, however, the good news is that limited deliveries are now proceeding.
Royal Mail Limits International Deliveries
On 17th January 2023 it was reported that Royal Mail have now resumed limited overseas deliveries, and in a statement they apologised for the impact to customers, saying “We would like to sincerely apologise to impacted customers for any disruption this incident may be causing,” Royal Mail added. “Please be assured our teams are working around the clock to fully resolve this situation.”
The Impact to Our Customers
These delays are of course beyond our control, but we're hopeful that deliveries should be back to normal very soon.
In the meantime, we really appreciate your understanding and patience as international orders are likely to take longer than usual currently. We'll update both this blog and our delivery and returns page with more infromation when the situation changes.
